Where does the hair come from used to make hair extensions?

All the lines of extensions we work with are 100% remy human hair.  This means you can use heat and style your extensions as you would your own hair.  Most extensions are of Indian or Chinese descent.  In the Hindu religion, people shave their heads and sacrifice their hair to their temples.  The temples then collect the hair and sell it to different manufacturers.  Before we receive the hair, it undergoes numerous processes of cleansing and coloring before it is made into beautiful extensions.

What can I expect during the consultation?

We will first start out by discussing your desired style.  The state of your natural hair will be assessed to determine which line of extensions would be the best fit.  We will discuss your lifestyle and how much time and effort you are willing to put into your extensions. Some require daily maintenance, while others require minimal maintenance.  We will show you the different attachment methods and lines of hair extensions available.  When we agree on the extensions that are best for you, you will be given a price quote.  If you choose to proceed with the extension service, we will then match your natural hair to the color swatches.  A 50% deposit of the total service price is required to book the appointment.  The deposit goes towards the cost of the hair and all deposits are non-refundable.  When the hair is ordered from the manufacturer, they will not issue a refund under any circumstance.  Therefore, you will be required to sign and date the Deposit Agreement.  We can then schedule the appointment, and it takes about 1-2 weeks to receive the hair from the manufacturer.

Will hair extensions damage my natural hair?

With proper care and maintenance, the damage to your natural hair will be minimal. Not every attachment method will be right for every person and some methods are simply more damaging than others. It is important to understand that with any type of hair extension, damage and breakage is always a possibility. We educate each client on the pros and cons of every method and will help choose what system is best.

How long do hair extensions last and can I reuse them?

This varies depending on the line/attachment method of extensions.

How much do hair extensions cost?

This is the most common question we hear from clients.  There are several factors to consider when determing the cost.  Desired length and fullness as well as the client's natural hair lenth and fullness need to be discussed before an accurate price can be given. Furthermore, each line/attachment method varies in price considerably.  Price quotes will not be given without first meeting for a complimentary consultation.  To book a consultation, click here.
